Well I guess you must already know my name as my card making identity of annemade is a dead give away. I live on the Isle of Wight with my Border Collie called Kofi.  Yes - after Kofi Annan.  I'm a lucky girly who has inherited some very crafty genes, but sadly nothing that has made me so much money that I can give up my day job as a manager in the civil service.  As much as I enjoy my work, I would so love to craft all day.  Outside of work I can be found crafting or running around an agility ring with my dog.  Quite frankly there's very little time for anything else when you're creative - wouldn't you agree?

ABC48 National Children's Day

Welcome everyone to another fun challenge here at ABC Challenges.  I was looking through the 2013 calendar a few weeks ago and I discovered that National Children's day is tomorrow, October 8th and Child Health Day is today so we decided to have a challenge in honor of the children.

I am really enjoying our challenge this week because I love seeing how all of you are mixing up those papers and Brenda's card is a beautiful example of that.  I love the mix of papers on her card and especially how she created the notched out corners on the strips of paper along the bottom of her card, so very creative!
