ABC39 Monochromatic

Hello and welcome to 'ABC' Challenges.  Whether you are current and dedicated follower or have just found us  - we are so glad that you've stopped by.   Every Monday is the start of a new challenge here at 'ABC' Challenges and this week (ABC39) our DT would like to see your beautiful MONOCHROMATIC cards.  Pick any 1 color you'd like and make a card to share with us.

Now it's time for you to link up your beautiful monochromatic cards.  Don't have a blog?  No problem, we will visit your online gallery; simply use the keywords ABC39 for this challenge.   Each week the DT picks their top card/artist who then gets the opportunity to be a Guest Designer for the next challenge.  Will it be you this week? Hello!  This past week we saw lots of really great examples of using up your stash of scraps to make beautiful cards.  We were definitely impressed and inspired - in fact I may never throw another scrap away again (LOL - I hardly do already) now that I've seen what many of you have made.

Our Guest Designer Laine

Our guest designer this week is, Laine.  You can view her winning card found here.  Laine's blog is 'Dream Laine' and she makes such beautiful cards, if you have a minute be sure to stop by and visit her blog.  

We hope you can come play along with us for this week's challenge to 'Use Up Scraps'.  Laine had some wonderful ideas for using up some paper scraps, she used them in her die cuts, to create her panels, the fence, punched borders and these are just a few wonderful examples!  Thank you so much, Laine!  Your card is just perfect, I love the design, and I am amazed at how beautiful your coloring is.

I am so delighted and honoured to join ABC Challenges as GDT for this Challenge.

I have turned into a compulsive card maker over the last few years.

I love to design and make cards.

It's a wonderful past-time and has opened up so many new avenues for me and I have made some wonderful crafty friends.
