Our Guest Designer ~ Marlies

Our guest designer this week is Marlies and she made this absolutely beautiful card for our 'Tic Tac Toe' challenge this week.  She used ribbon, pearls, and glitter using the chart on our challenge.  I love the pretty flowers and the banners with the letters and the adorable image with perfect coloring too!  Thank you so much, Sarah for making such a beautiful card!

Hi I’m Marlies, I live in the Netherlands. I’m married and we have two sons and a daughter.

I work part-time and in my spare time I love making scrapcards.  My cards are usually full of flowers and I like adding on lace and pearls.

I colour my stamped images with distress ink but I also like using vintage images.

Our Guest Designer ~ Sarah

I love the card Sarah made!  The heart shaped doily is beautiful and the image is just darling and colored so nicely.  I really like all the pretty embellishments she used from the flowers to the butterflies and the ribbon too!  Thank you, Sarah for making such a beautiful card!

I have been married to my best friend for 49 (50 in Nov.) years. We have 6 children, 8 grandchildren, and 2 great grandchildren.  I love crafting!  My grandmother taught me to embroider when I was 12 and I've tried lots of different crafts ever since. One day I decided I wanted to start a blog and while I was searching for a subject, I found card challenges. It's been an amazing journey!  I've learned so many new things but the best part is all the awesome, talented friends I have met who challenge me with their creativity!  Thank you, Patricia, for inviting me to join you as a GD!

ABC26 Mother's Day

Welcome back for our weekly challenges!  I'd like to give a special thank you to all of our new followers as well as our weekly players, it's so great to have you play along with us each week!   Last week's challenge was wonderful and we enjoyed seeing all the neat reycling ideas you used.  Since Mother's Day is just 2 weeks away we thought it would be a great time to honor our mothers in making some Mother's Day cards!
