ABC26 Mother's Day

Welcome back for our weekly challenges!  I'd like to give a special thank you to all of our new followers as well as our weekly players, it's so great to have you play along with us each week!   Last week's challenge was wonderful and we enjoyed seeing all the neat reycling ideas you used.  Since Mother's Day is just 2 weeks away we thought it would be a great time to honor our mothers in making some Mother's Day cards!

Come join our 'Recycle Challenge'

Good Morning!  There's still time to play along with our 'Recycle' challenge this week!  I had to sew a little league patch on my son's baseball uniform and when I was looking through my sewing basket I came across an old demin patch I was going to throw away and then I stopped and realized that I could use it to make a card and so this is what I came up with.

I used the SU Lattice die to die cut the patch and I used that for the background behind my flowers.  If you'd like to read a little more about my card I have details posted on my blog post found here.

Thanks for stopping by for another fun challenge this week at ABC Challenge!  Today is 'Earth Day' and we thoguht it would be neat to have an 'Earth Day' challenge this week so this challenge is an easy one!

Good Morning!  I can't believe it's Friday already and time for our weekly guest designer post.  This week's challenge is a something a little different.  All you need to do is to use 1, 2, and 3 of something on your cards.  Sounds like fun, right?  And there's still time to play along so we hope you'll come join us!

I am mother of a 17 years old beautiful young lady, who is the apple of my eyes.  We live in San Juan, Puerto Rico with our over affectionate Chihuahuas.  I work full time in an accounting firm as an Information Technology Specialist.  I’ve been crafting since I was a little girl, I’ve done macramé, cold porcelain, scrapbooking, mosaics and a few more.  I was introduced to card making by my best friend Kathya about two years ago when I went to visit her in Tampa and we did our first card together, I fell in love immediately.  We started our blog in October 2011 and our world got bigger immediately.  It’s amazing how a passion and a blog helps you make friends all over the world.  I am always learning new techniques, improving my coloring skills, trying new ways to color, new layouts, etc.  My favorite thing to do is coloring, especially with Copics, it’s my stress reliever, I looove it!

ABC24 'Easy as 1-2-3'

Hi everyone and we're so glad that you stopped by for today's challenge.  This week we have a fun and different idea for a challenge and we hope you like it!

ABC24  'Easy as 1-2-3'

Simply create a card using 1-2-3 of something.  For example, you can use 1 stamped, image, 2 ribbons, and 3 brads.  Or 1, ribbon, 2 images, and 3 colors.  It could even be 1 sentiment, 2 embossing folders, and 3 flowers.  Or maybe even, 1 button, 2 colors, and 3 shapes.  The possibilities are endless!  *Please list what your 1-2-3 items are*.
